Admission Process
Please ensure the following information is included with your application to graduate studies. Incomplete applications will be held on file for one year.
Correspond with Academic Staff
All graduate students admitted into a graduate program in AFNS must have a faculty member (Professor, Associate Professor or Assistant Professor) agree to supervise their graduate program before admission is approved. Applicants are encouraged to correspond with academic staff who may be
suitable as a potential Graduate Research Supervisor. When corresponding with faculty members please include a detailed CV with education and work experience, volunteer experience and list of publications and presentations, PLUS a personal statement indicating your interest in their program and how your background (courses completed and work/research experience) makes you a suitable candidate to complete a graduate degree in their research area. Please review the faculty member's home page before contacting them. A recommendation for admission will only be made once a faculty member in AFNS has reviewed the prospective student's application and supporting documents and agreed to supervise that student in their graduate program.
