Advanced Food Microbiology

The overall objective of these courses is to present students an integrated exploration of issues pertaining to food science. As a result of studying the course, students will be familiar with very recent issues in food science that are not or not sufficiently presented in textbooks. Topics include current issues in food science as listed below in the lecture outline. Students will be expected to develop advanced success skills including critical thinking, professionalism, and life-long learning.
