Applied Beef Cattle Science

After completing the course, students will:

  • Understand and function in the beef industry with a production, business and management focus.
  • Begin to establish a working network within the beef industry of Alberta.
  • Have the ability to analyze and interpret costs of production within the beef industry, specifically with respect to the cow calf industry.
  • Have Fun while Learning.

Lectures and labs are the same as for AN SC 474, but with additional assignments and evaluation appropriate to graduate studies.
